As of right now, swords are the only allowable weapons.
Shields are not allowed and only one sword may be used at a time.

All swords to be used in a tourney must be presented to the appropriate marshal beforehand and whenever a marshal asks.
Sword blades will possess a blunted/rounded edge of approximately 1.5 - 2.0 mm in diameter. (about the thickness of a dime)
The point will be blunted (rounded) with a diameter of no less than 1 cm.(about the radius of a dime)
All swords will be constructed of tempered steel, moly-chromium alloy or other steel-based metals possessing similar properties.
The guards and fittings of swords will not be sharp.
Swords will be in good repair and the edges will be without sharp nicks when presented for inspection.
Swords will be no longer than 50 inches in total length
