International Armoured Combat League
What is the International Armoured Combat League?
The International Armoured Combat League (formally the North American Armoured Combat League) was developed so that individuals interested in wearing medieval armour and fighting with steel swords would have a common ruleset.
Since everyone is using the same rules and the same armour and weapon regulations, the League can post rankings and individuals can see where they stand in the global armoured combat arena. This can then lend itself to international competitions even upto and including the Olympics.
In fact the Olympic comittee has accepted the International Armoured Combat League as the ruling body and point of contact for armoured combat sports. (Yes people, this is a very real and obtainable goal).
Our job now is to provide them with rules, regulations and show them that there is a global interest for such a sport. Thats why if you are even remotley interested in something like this then we really need your support and input.
