Jeremy OneailJeremy Oneail

Lead Instructor/Principal

Jeremy has been studying European medieval marshall arts and competing for almost 15 years. He is a recognized international champion in armoured combat and jousting, as well as sword fighting, dagger, and grappling. In the past 4 years Jeremy has won championships in Belgium, Germany, France and the USA, and placed in the top 5 in Sweden and Norway. He was knighted by the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) in 2004 for Excellence in Combat.

Jeremy's unique style is based in Italain Master Fiore dei Liberi's "Flos Duelatorum" from 1409, but is a thoroughly modern interpretation combining elements from many styles. In 2003 he founded The Acadamy of Knightly Arts. In 4 years the school has grown to three locations in New England, and attracted students of all ages and backgrounds.

Jim TewksburyReverend Jim Tewksbury

Head Instructor - Danielson

Rev. James Tewksbury resides in the state of Connecticut. An avid adventurer and world traveler, Rev. James enjoys pushing to his limits in all of his pursuits. He retired from the military after 22 years of service, and enjoys pushing the limits of his students.

In 2006 at the Metal &Might Tournament USA he placed 1st in Longsword as well as Tournament Champion , 2006 at the Hackaland Tournament Belgium He also received Most Chivalrous. In 2007 he became a member of the International Broadsword League and is the current #2 competitor. and in 2007 at the Hackaland Tournament Belgium placed 8th in combat an 18th in the mounted skill at arms.
